I get that. But when you stop seeing actually new, meaningful stuff just a few hours in, that’s a problem. Heck, a CoD campaign basically gives me more new stuff after 10 hours of playing it than NMS, which is not what I expected.

They released it at a very specific time for me, when I could really use a new game with lots to explore to kill time.
That, too.
I actually think Colonial Marines situation wasn’t as bad.
Well, I generally prefer to know a bit about the game I’m buying before actually buying it.
It’s more than that, though. I expected a game described by the developers, and got something else instead.
It’s amazing.
So it’s okay because it’s “what people do”? What the heck?
I got all worried when buying TLOU remaster after people claiming cutscenes looked better in 30 fps, but once I played it myself - wtf? They look like real freaking life. Never going back to 30 fps in that game, for anything.
ESPECIALLY if it’s your own.
Wow. It’s like every Zombies game after Black Ops is just TRYING to make me hate it more and more and want to play it less.
As I mentioned, I’m not calling it a fraud for sure yet, it just looks a lot like it. It probably isn’t, but who knows, until we have some confirmations.
Yeah, at this point, either a firm “no” or such a video would be perfect. But if it wasn’t for the interviews, this definitely wouldn’t have been such a problem, not for this number of people at least.
Journey multiplayer was a bit confusing, but it was clarified by the devs and took like one Google search to understand.
Lol, read that again.
Yeah. And a single tweet along the lines of “hey guys, we did plan huge multiplayer stuff, but it didn’t work out, so it won’t be there” would’ve been more than good enough. Instead there’s silence and dumb question evading.
I just don’t know how else I can explain this. Sure, all the official store pages mention single player. But developer did mention multiplayer multiple times, and then it’s not there, and a LOT of people expected it, and developer is just silent about it. It looks shady is all.
Are you seriously comparing the lack of growing trees to having multiplayer?
I mean, I don’t know. It seems like enough people expected multiplayer in the game after all those statements. And considering all those people, the developers could just go ahead and say something like “hey guys, please don’t pre-order/buy our game if you want multiplayer!”. Instead they kept being vague about it…
