One thing I’ve been using torrents for over the last few years is language switching. It all started with Origin and Steam not including English with games (which is complete and utter bullshit). For the past year or two, they also mostly blocked the ability to switch language files, so I’m forced to buy American or

Really, they nailed it all in Soma already. Remove the enemy encounters, and that game is damn perfect.

Different games, really, so apples to oranges. But World in Conflict is something I’d choose any day. It’s much simpler, but more fun at the same time, very easily understandable and accessible to new players right away. I still can’t figure out all the mechanics behind War Game.

I honestly believed in that game, but it turned out alright at best. Doesn’t deserve a spot nowhere close to top 10 RTS games ever.

Weirds me out too! Also, perfect picture :D

I think it’s still the best modern-setting RTS to date. It’s also a real looker. I can’t believe they never made a sequel. Can’t even imagine how good it’d look if they made one today.

Nonsense. Warhammer 40K Dawn of War (1) and C&C 3 not in top 10 strategy games list? Nuh-uh.

This review is damn delusional. Like, seriously. I could probably agree to saying that it was a good movie with some very bad moments, but a very bad movie? I mean, wow.

Not really. I live in Moscow myself, and boy do people love to pirate here. I’m “the weirdo who buys blu rays”.

I love watching those. After all the dumb kids I saw grabbing cats by tails and generally not giving a shit how they treat them, buggers get what they deserve.

If we throw away naturally improved lighting and textures and effects and stuff, the animations themselves don’t seem any better than L.A. Noir stuff to me, tbh. God that game looked good. I couldn’t believe the trailers.

Is it weird that just like with first XCOM, I completely lost interest after beating the game once? It’s just no fun to replay after that, with nothing new to unlock and no story progression (even though story sucks). :(

I understand. I would just like something AAA announced for the thing :(

So I don’t quite get it. Are any of those games, or any games announced for Rift/Vive so far, really enough for anyone to drop 600+ dollars on a headset just to play them? Assuming you already have capable hardware.

I mean, it’s not bad, I guess...but frankly, at best, some of those games are maybe interesting enough to buy on Steam cheaply and check them out. So far I don’t see a reason to drop a few hundred bucks on a headset first. Hope they announce something more interesting sometime soon.

Well, that’s two examples. Of all the AAA releases I played, Fallout probably performs the worst, but it’s arguably not such a big problem there since you got VATS and all. Still, both of those games are miles ahead of VR stuff visually.

When you mentioned 970, you said that GPU in PS4 can barely output 1080/30, I just said that it can, no problem, and can even do better. Wasn’t talking about VR there. But seeing as how mediocre most VR stuff looks at the moment, I’m thinking turning the visuals down and making it 1080p/120hz, especially with that

Can PCs do better? Sure. Do they? Doesn’t seem like it at the moment. Pretty much all of the games announced thus far are looking way worse than AAA console games, I guess mainly because pushing games in that resolution and 90+ FPS is pretty hard.

Screen you posted looks damn fine to me. And 100 is great, too. Set it to something like 110, and you can already see heavy distortion. Anything above is unplayable for me personally.

Not that many tbh, there are tons and tons of games locked to 60 at the moment. Besides, PSVR is bundled with that graphical processing unit which is bound to add some FPS crunching power.
