Well, first of all, it’s usually constant dps for a short time, since you need a lot of fuel, and it’s usually scarce, and secondly, considering the low damage, it may be more reliable to kill an enemy with a single shotgun shot, or a rocket, or whatever.

Which is why I consider Matrix to have some of the best fights ever to this day. While other movies try to hide the action, Matrix slowed it the fuck down and it still looked amazing.

I’m just not that old, but have been listening to the genre for as long as I remember as well. It’s his style, mostly. Pretty shocking, very fun, “rebellious” I guess. He just didn’t give a shit, and stood out nicely. Technique was also quite something, especially for a white guy in that kinda industry back in the day.
