Just listened to part of their cover of “I can’t go for that”. It was decent, definitely not as good as the original to me, but a good rendition. Also listened to Maneater cover and same thought, but way better than the grace mitchell version I listened to.

They probably never transferred the title. Pretty sure that is a common BHPH deal as they know that most people stop paying and they repo and resell.

Most likely a BHPH lot that doesn’t release the title to you until you pay off the absolutely absurd amount ($6k for an 18 year old Taurus is larceny!).

Happy to see that our tax dollars are going to help enrich the exec’s at Bluebird. I know someone has to build them, but the whole “free busses” line makes me think that they are essentially selling these for whatever they want since the schools aren’t really paying for them.

Even though I think the price is more ND, I went NP. Only for the fact that finding these in good shape is really hard. So, I might not be a buyer, but I think someone will pay close to asking for this.

All good here!

Definitely!

I have no idea who grace mitchell is, but if anyone thinks that version is better than Hall and Oates, fucking YIKES. I couldn’t listen to it for more than 10 seconds.

Tradiotnal OEM’s don’t have a lot of unsold inventory as once it is wholesaled to the dealer, it is no longer on the OEM’s books as it has been “bought” by the dealer. I am sure there is some and if dealers would start to turn down allocations it would/could hapen.

Yep, sadly, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Just in my own family there are two cousins that have two kids each. They drive a Wagoneer and a Yukon XL, it’s crazy. And both of them had huge ass vehicles when they only had one kid.

Yep, I got points too and my suspension was some really short period of time. I was in college at the time and home for a break, so losing my license was of no real worries to me at that point. It was dumb though.

I honestly didn’t even read the article, but aren’t Mp4's kind of junky and not worth much? These were pretty cheap a few years ago I thought, so unless the market has really changed, big ND from me. These are not at the 20 year mark yet, so this should lose even more value until it hits that magic 15-25 year period

It really sucks that people see big and think “safe”. I have heard it so many times and it is so frustrating. What we should really be gunning for, is everyone having smaller vehicles. The smaller (less weight, but equating size and weight here) the vehicles are, the less force involved in accidents and overall, less

I also love this line from 3rd gear, “Electric vehicles are a net good for the world.”

You missed the obvious model and what it is literally replacing as the Venza gets killed again. This is just a reworked Venza with a bit of a higher price tag.

Meh, I don’t know. Speeding tickets in some states are surprisingly lenient. I got one for 122.3 in a 55 and other than a fine ($261) and a loss of license for some period, I didn’t get anything else.

112 in a 65? How is that on here? The picture I have isn’t legible since it was from way back, but I stupidly got a 122.3 in a 55 ticket on thanksgiving morning in my moms Maxima.

Agreed, that is why I brought up aging stars as being “wanted”. There are a ton of reasons, and it unfortunately isn’t all about “who is the best or fastest” all the time.

Another variable is that big names or bigger names bring more sponsor money. Racing isn’t cheap and F1 is nowhere near semi-affordable.

Extremely big stretch, especially when you factor in a third-party agency/production team that actually does everything for the commercial and Toyota just says, “yep, looks good. Let’s run that.”
