I probably would too, now that I remember it exists. Just doesn’t bode well for a brand when someone that works in the auto industry and loves vehicles doesn’t remember one of you models exists. I probably even saw one or two on my way to work this am.

Errr, they really aren’t everywhere. Although Volvo did have their best sales year of the past 20 years in 2023 and they look pretty strong again this year, a market share of 0.83% in the US is not something amazing.

This has always been my issue with campers/RV’s. That aren’t that nice compared to a hotel room and you aren’t really “camping” it is like a weird middle ground that doesn’t make sense to me. I guess the overlanding portion is kind of cool, but not $70k cool to me.

On their site, with the two options I can tell are here, the camper is closer to $36k and depending on a few other options, could be $40k or more. Oh, I know they are copying us and any other OEM out there, that is kind of their thing. I know JV’s aren’t something new, but there is a pretty good timeline to auto JV’s in China and their suddenly well-built and competitive auto industry that I don’t think is coincidence.

I have no issues with people buying what they want, at all. Just saying that buying one of these and then being surprised you get attention is insane. If I were you, I wouldn’t wait on Canoo, that company is DOA.
