That is just a fantastic video.

My plan is, “don’t get caught”. If I do, I just pay the ticket, not worth the time or effort to try and get out of it to me.

When you look in the mirror and see them. But my mechanic likes to drink on the job and is pretty slow, usually does pretty well and is cheap too.

Literal swamp fire, love it.

My dad has a Torino ‘vert in his garage (I forget the exact year though, but thinking ‘71 too), needs a bunch of work though. Triple white, 4 spd, 351 with hideaway headlights.

My dad has one of these, but triple white, with the 351, a 4 speed and hideaways. Unfortunately, his needs a lot of work. Sending this to him now, so maybe when he finally retires will get it rebuilt or fixed up.

My house was built in 1928, so similar to yours, but most of the windows and things are recentlyish updated. I am just east of you in MD, Bmore to be exact. I might get around to it, on the list of things to do, that one is relatively low unfortunately.

No, I might now though. I do have a decent number of smart plugs, so I might be able to see if they have usage through that too.

Yea, I mean I never really looked at it honestly. I do have porch lights that are on all night, so that could be a factor and a dehumidifier. Maybe someday I’ll take the time to figure it out.

100% the case, it was a pump and dump from the get-go

Yea, in the summer A/C is a killer on power consumption. Most of our appliances are newer, other than the dishwasher and our stove/oven is gas. Other than regular appliances, we don’t watch a ton of TV or use a ton of lights other than front porch lights. So, I really don’t know.

How is this FUD? All the info in in the article that shows EV are too expensive and can’t continue to sell at their original prices and that inventory was stacking up until big incentives were offered. What is FUD about that?

Agree with you on both fronts. I honestly don’t know how we use that much power though. Removing the three big outlier months and using a 30 day month, it is close to 28 kWh a day. But I honestly don’t even understand how it is that high.

They are past that point and need to show they can actually start to make money on their product. The cash burn at Rivian and Lucid is absolutely insane. I don’t think investors are lining up for any EV startup right now.

Damn, well I can sure try I guess.

I don’t think these protests will stop anything either and may make people care less about it or be against the cause the protestors are supporting. I agree that things can suck way more than being inconvenienced by protestors. I just don’t think it does anything to actually help the cause they are protesting for and

That is certainly true. I have been shopping these along with the other CLK cab’s for a bit as a weekend cruiser and prices are a bit regional, but this one is just a bit high for me.

Is “medical emergency” like a get out of jail free card in an accident? I mean, maybe it was, but maybe I’ll have to try that one.

I am in Bmore, so like you, it gets hot and really humid. I would probably be fine or at least semi-ok without AC or only AC in the bedroom, my wife however, not so much. Our house does get absolutely baked by afternoon sun and my younger daughter’s room at night gets really hot. I really would like a dual zone AC,

I will take a zinfindel (sp) riverside at sunrise in my CLK500 while I hope to not worry about repo or bankruptcy.
