The original monoblocks were the best. These, not so much.

Off topic, but I saw a pink i8 this past weekend, assumedly a wrap, but it was still cool.

I have a feeling it is something along these lines, or it was “owned” by the dealer principle, and they had to offload it by EoY ‘24 to be able to sell it as a “new” car.

That is fair, but the comment I responded to was, “Can’t imagine finding a better deal on a 4dr V8. I’d do it.” So, that is what I was doing, finding a better, or at least on par deal, to show that their comment was not 100% correct. There are other cars that match this deal too, just need to dig a bit. Can probably

The fact that their current “inventory” includes multiple launch editions is pretty bad/sad. Even if they get through this without BK, they have kneecapped their future by offering such huge discounts. Why would any ever pay them full price after chopping $15-25k or whatever off their prices?

I doubt smaller, but I think maybe a touch lower starting price with overlap at the top of the T4R trims and lower LC trims.

LC will be nicer inside than the 4Runner I would bet. They are essentially the same platform (shared with Tacoma and GX) and with where pricing is on the new LC, I expect the T4R to maybe move downward a touch. There will be some overlap at the top of the T4R and LC, but that doesn’t really stop Toyota.

I despise these delivery apps, but I still use them infrequently. I mostly only use them when I get gift cards so I can essentially get a free or really cheap meal for the family. Otherwise, I just call and pickup. I have used it when I was out of town and had food delivered to the fam to help out my wife, that part

Ehh, I don’t think the price is terrible, but with those miles I would probably look for a similar Lexus LS or GS instead. I went ND, just due to miles. Now at maybe $5,500 or $6k, easy NP.

Here is one:

Yea, that was my thought. Most of these sales increases are anomalies due to production schedules and availability.

Yea, I noticed that too, which seems odd. It may be that it isn’t in production yet, so they aren’t showing it on their site yet.

He is lucky it wasn’t from a SpaceX craft, no way you are ever getting paid by them.

If that is the one I am thinking of, it was in 2010-12. I lived in Philly at the time and was watching the little league world series. I was wondering why my glasses were rattling and the camera was shaking on TV, just an earthquake!

Because the EV market got saturated quickly and demand was met multiple times over. But somehow, people didn’t see that coming because Tesla was the only game in town and their sales/production ramp was pretty crazy. Almost like all the business folks at all the other OEM’s forgot business 101 from a supply/demand

Dropping a ton of money building an EV right now doesn’t make a ton of financial sense. You work on R&D now and then when you have a good solution, you build vehicles. Is it a different method? Sure, but just because they only have one, that isn’t great, doesn’t mean they are currently working on it.

Haha, terrible business move...right? They only sell the most vehicles in the world, right? They are second to only GM in the US, due to truck and fleet sales. TERRIBLE BUSINESS DECSIONS!!!

You forgot the new Tacoma and the upcoming new 4Runner. Other than the Gr86 (GR Corolla too, I guess) and Supra, every new Toyota will be Hybrid available or Hybrid only by the end of the year.

Incentives on the BZ are getting mighty good, I might ask my wife if she is interested at all.

This boat is not owned or operated by Maersk. It is Grace Ocean Private Limited. I am not sure what exactly Maersk’s involvement or liability is in this situation though.
