Yea, but like I said in other posts, we don’t know what transpired. Maybe on his end he really didn’t mean anything in what he was doing but it could be inferred to be “inappropriate and controlling”.

I mean, I guess? I don’t have the data behind these specific situations, I was more talking in generalities about accused vs guilty. Unfortunately, I think these type of cases happen more frequently with well known or wealthier people where the possible outcome (monetary) can be a motivating factor. Not saying it is

Yes, that is true. I guess it depends on the allegations. Like if someone says, “you took my phone” that is a bit different than accusing someone of a felony or something truly terrible.

Uhhhh, not sure at what you are getting at here.

Still a lot of info that has not been disclosed. I do think that in his position, having a relationship with someone else at the team is not a good look. Maybe she blew it out of proportion or who knows, but again we don’t have all the details.

From what I read he dismissed both of them as doing it for a money grab. There were never charges filed either criminal or civil, so he doesn’t really need to defend those. Why would he or anyone waste time defending themselves against someone that didn’t file any charges? All you have to do is say, “that is false” or

Fallout isn’t Fallout without Fallout Boy.

And apparently, which for some reason wasn’t mentioned here, they announced they are pausing plans for their Georgia plant.

Yes, in a far far different time. Money was cheap, investors were easy to come by and the EV market wasn’t saturated like it is now. Rivian doesn’t have that luxury. Money is expensive, the EV industry has had tons of BK or verge of BK companies, so investors are worried and there is a ton of competition in that

Yep, not a bad gig to get paid that much. “Just don’t say anything”

With a touch over $4bn in LT debt and a market cap of $10bn, you would be lucky to get anything. But it is only $100, so not terrible.

HAHA, “competently managing their finances”, HAHA. I will give you a hint on that front, they lost $5.739bn in 2023, $6.856bn in 2022, $4.22bn in 2021 and $1.021bn in 2020. They have about $9.3bn in cash along with over $4bn in long term debt. The might be popular, but they aren’t even turning a positive gross profit.

Apple and a lot of clothing brands also rely on retailers to sell their products, more of a mixed retail model instead of DTC or retail only.

Hmm, that is a great question. But I honestly haven’t the slightest idea how that would play out.

I agree, that is the root issue here. They pretty much, “all good, don’t worry”. So it is hard to say what the real right call is here. Even if whatever happened was consensual, is it really a good look to have your married team boss doing whatever with staffers?

I have not encountered those. I have only really been downtown for the most part.

Yea, just meant a future iteration like the TRD/XSE V6 that could be added down the line.

Definitely damage upon damage, but we don’t know what actually happened. If he didn’t do anything, I don’t blame him for fighting for his job. But most of the time, if your ownerships gives you the chance to step down, you aren’t completely innocent.

Read the rest of my responses. I don’t have all the details, but from the info I do have, it sounds like he did some things that a boss of a company/team should not have done. I can’t pass actual judgement as I don’t know the details, that is why I said probably, not definitely. This whole thing stinks for RB, he

You might lose your deposit if they declare BK before then, it is just like playing the lotto! Also, from the Rivian side, interest free loan.
