Let’s see if they make it to ‘26 first.

Just disappointed that Fallout Boy isn’t the soundtrack.
Those cobblestones are no joke!
Well, I think it would be better if they were more open with what information they have and the reasoning behind their decisions, but I doubt we get that anytime soon.
Haha, well outside of the EV makers on here, it probably does belong in a garbage truck.
I didn’t really follow that case but when it happened, I do remember thinking similar to what you said. Then I started to hear more and thought about it again and realized that accusations are just that, accusations. That is my main callout here with Horner, we don’t know what happened, so how can we determine an…
He settled the ONLY civil lawsuit against him after the criminal case was dropped. The other two accusations that I saw he was never charged with anything criminally or in a civil case. You can accuse anyone of literally anything, it doesn’t make it true.
Ahh, good catch there. I did not realize that.
Yea, and money was cheap, and investors were willing to get in. The same cannot be said at this time in the EV startup space. That industry segment has evaporated so much capital in the past 4 years that I think a lot of investors are a bit gun shy now.
Yea, I could see this being a relatively likely chain of events. The problem is there are only two people that know the whole truth here and without any evidence (which there may be) it is he said, she said. At this point, we just don’t have enough info to come to a real conclusion.
Yep, that is my whole point. We don’t know the truth here, so saying someone should be fired or whatever just isn’t the right response. I am not saying the Horner did nothing wrong, just saying we don’t know what happened.
Mitsu the car company has a pretty big backing in Mitsu Heavy Industry. The car brand could go away here in the US, but it won’t go bankrupt.
Slide 11, Rivian and Lucid are apparently losing money on essentially every sale, so in theory, more sales is actually worse. Neither company even has a positive gross profit, so that is not good.
There are a lot of grocery stores out there that sell the same items for different prices from location to location and a lot of dealers that have a one price sales model. A grocery store could sell eggs for a different price if they wanted to, that is what being a retailer means. You can sell anything you want for…
He should have been if there was any credibility to the accusations. I personally think he probably should have been fired.
I agree with most all of this. And I tend to lean toward this being a shit move by RB, but again, I don’t know or have not seen any of the supposed details. All I am saying is that without details or actual knowledge we can’t really pass judgement. As you said, “with apparently a LOT of credibility and evidence” but…
I agree with all of this, but again, we still do not know what transpired. Now, I think the fact that this was “dismissed” and he was not “cleared or innocent” speaks volumes.
I am not sure on the new Hybrid only Camry, but I hope they come out with a Hybrid Max version that has the powerplant from the Crown in it. Or maybe something even a bit better than 264hp and 332 ft. lbs.
We buy pretty much everything from a retailer, even larger purchases like appliances, HVAC equipment, raw materials like lumber, drywall, screws. You name it and you have probably bought it from a retailer. Even house purchases have middlemen, aka realtors and/or brokerages.
So, here is the thing. We do not know the details, correct? So if this accuser was seen as trying to black mail him or raise accusations over something that was not wrong wouldn’t that lead to them being in trouble?
