Man…I hate everyone in this story.

I refuse to believe that I am loosing this argument.

I will and they will know I am coming for them. This is the same sort of linguistic laziness that led to “donut.” Which makes zero sense as no one is doing anything and it is made out of dough.

Man, when did writing go all nutty and start resembling common speech? What’s next? Dangling participles?

The subculture of the gym rat bro-chewer repurposing their protein powder container as a spittoon should be commended. Re-use is even better than recycling.

Obviously you do not chew, my accusation was more that you are not chew adjacent and your statement was rooted in stereotypes from a significant distance. As a class chewers are a shrinking and beleaguered demographic and profiling them in such a way is hurtful and harmful to their emotional well being.* Treating

“hawking chaw spit out the window“

You are correct. There is no good reason to force a dealership between consumer and manufacturer. In the current market they offer no value to the purchaser or the manufacturer.

If we lived in a sane world dealerships would not be allowed to sell financing. It’s a conflict of interest as the best interests of the finance company, the auto manufacturers and the customers are not aligned.

Perhaps google “metaphor” before flying off the handle?

Any post that gets people talking about depreciation and car costs is good to me. If some car shopper stumbles across this and rethinks their decision to go under water on a car, the post has severed a positive purpose.

Spending on a car that is worth less than the balance halfway through repayment is stupid.

Half pretax?

Where’s TikTok headquartered? 400k can burn really fast in some real estate markets.

I don’t think we are supposed to feel bad for her.  It’s a cautionary tale that we can all apply to our approach to money regardless of our income.

The buying “hack” of keeping a car for a long time after the finance period works a lot better if you let somebody else eat the first two years of depreciation.
