I had a similar thought, but in my zip code you are looking at easily $200k, probably more.

In that condition, at that price, with that much utility, I was going to buy it and figure out what to do with it later.

My reply to this seems to have disappeared so forgive me if this is a duplicate.

I’m not remotely defensive.

I am not making arguments about what insurance companies “SHOULD” do. I am explaining what they can and will do.

So that simply does not apply here.

I didn’t care one way or the other about an HOA. I’m a good neighbor and have never been hassled when I lived in an HOA. What I looked for was a neighborhood where everybody took good care of their property and respected each other.

Which is it?

I am sure the insurance company can send somebody. The outcome will be the same, your house will still be surveilled and the cost of that employee will be reflected in your bill.

I would totally vote for privacy safegaurds from cooperate snoops. But I would do so knowing that in the case of something like insurance it would lead to more claims and higher rates. Other people, might reasonably and rationally make a different choice and I would not fault them.

I hate to tell you this…

Funny. People respecting each other and understanding that our choices can cause harm to our neighbors sounds “stepford” to you?

What are you talking about? And why use “so-called” it’s a total misuse of the term (which I see far too often).

I really like the car, but don’t get the marketing. As the OP notes most younger don’t have 60k laying around. And many who do have kids and probably need four doors in their sporting machine.

Pathfinder was a direct competitor to the 4Runner. Now it’s a generic CUV.

If you all are on the same page, have at it.  It sounds a bit chaotic for me, but if you all are good with it, have a great time.

Things that affect property values aren’t really insane issues. It would be nice if people could be more neighborly and figure this stuff out in a civil way. But most of us have a lot of treasure tied up in our homes and can get pretty fussy if we think somebody else’s choices could take that away from us.

Our collective interests are complicated.

That sounds insane. I hope you escaped unscathed.

The disconnect on the Land Cruiser trim is front end only. Considering it’s IFS, it will halp a little. But KDSS fees the sway bar on the back and allows the axle to float. Since it is an axle rather than an independent suspension it offers both more articulation and traction generating leverage.
