Almost nobody who overlands sleeps in their vehicle. You need to store stuff inside especially if weather hits. Rooftop tents are super popular for good reason.

I agree with everything you say about Snidely Musklash...
This may be true...But the corporation that controls their output and the actuaries who make the final decisions aren’t in the game for anything but fiduciary concerns. All the passionate engineers in the world can’t fix the auto industry.
Interesting take. I live in an area where there are off road opportunities in every direction. In this culture, the 4runner is so popular because it has an ancient, simple, bulletproof drivetrain and a good platform for dirty dirt. The branding isn’t the thing here. You could rename it the 4Fudgeknuckle, and…
The problem is...ALL of these corporations have massively questionable moral issues. Making and selling cars is a dirty business. There are degrees of culpability, but no major car manufacturer is clean.
This was so painful to read.
It’s not childish YouTube bullshit, it’s because these people are doing this for money and to get that money they need clicks. So they feed into what drives those clicks.
I miss the TG format with the audience interplay and new car tests along with a road film. No one did it better than these three at their peak.
“No shit, you don’t need to live there to know most of the city proper is flat.”
I am so glad nobody recommended at microbus. They might be less safe than a motorcycle. I think any teen driving one should be required by law to wear full body armor and a helmet.
“This is a great pick, but I think the Subaru still the top choice being that they live in Denver. The extra ground clearance and goes a long way in a place that snowy and hilly.”
It’s Denver. It’s alpine desert. There’s like 4-5 snow storms a year and they melt off in a few days. AWD will be handy 4-5 days, not months. We do not at all need AWD in most populated parts of CO.
It doesn’t matter whether or not the Teslas are sold at dealerships. They demonstrate that demand for EV’s is high. Mach E’s are sold at dealerships...At least they were, until they sold out. You can also look at Polestar, VW etc to see vehicles that are often very difficult to purchase because demand is greater…
Long sigh...
Kinda sounds to me like they don’t want to sell them because they don’t sell well, not so much that they refuse to because of personal reasons.
Pretty much everybody who invests can’t afford to lose everything. If you put your money under your mattress it dies a slow death due to inflation. You have little choice but to invest if you ever want to retire and or don’t want to watch your dollars turn into nickels. The key to avoiding losing everything is…
“GAWT DAMN!!!!!”
“These things aren’t even licensed. They are illegal on roadways, period.
Let’s be real here. This is a 49 cc scooter. It’s good for maybe 35mph. If the police wanted to kill the guy, they would just get behind him and run him over.
Why would anyone pay attention to his butthole farts when so many are flying out of his mouth?
