Almost nobody who overlands sleeps in their vehicle. You need to store stuff inside especially if weather hits. Rooftop tents are super popular for good reason.

The problem is...ALL of these corporations have massively questionable moral issues. Making and selling cars is a dirty business. There are degrees of culpability, but no major car manufacturer is clean.

It’s not childish YouTube bullshit, it’s because these people are doing this for money and to get that money they need clicks. So they feed into what drives those clicks.

It’s Denver. It’s alpine desert. There’s like 4-5 snow storms a year and they melt off in a few days. AWD will be handy 4-5 days, not months. We do not at all need AWD in most populated parts of CO.

It doesn’t matter whether or not the Teslas are sold at dealerships. They demonstrate that demand for EV’s is high. Mach E’s are sold at dealerships...At least they were, until they sold out. You can also look at Polestar, VW etc to see vehicles that are often very difficult to purchase because demand is greater…
