I love the optimism of the term “late stage” sadly I don’t believe it any more. Our corporate overlords control all the messaging and are doing an amazing job pitting us against one another. The trailer people will race out to kill the apartment people while the McMansion people watch on their giant screens and

The W word is totally played. At this point anyone who uses it sounds like a hysterical suburbanite who’s trying not to piss themselves because they’re at a stoplight next to a 64 Chevy with Dayton’s. Using that worn out word will at best get you stars from other terrified Boltonesque commuters. But, it just wrecks

Who said this article was about the civic not the integra? strange reply…

If performance is your end game, the “wrong wheel” thing doesn’t hold up any more. The Civic roasts the Golf R on the track, and the outcome will likely be the same with the integra.

The CVT’s in hybrids are actually eCVT’s and are not at all the same thing is CVT’s in ICE cars.

“Thank you. The unnecessary stereotyping of CVTs as inferior needs to stop. If I’m not buying a car with a manual transmission, I couldn’t care less how the automatic is configured.”

Most people don’t track these cars, and should not consider track tests in their purchase decision.  They will offer very similar street performance experiences.  If you are cross shopping an Golf R and a Type R, the difference will come down to emotions and or whether or not you think you need AWD.

Agreed and starred before you get review bombed with people complaining about ‘capacitive touch’ interfaces....

I love my MK8 R.”

I don’t. I’ve owned two R’s and they were great. But the current interior is a deal breaker. The AWD on the R is great and that’s where I run into trouble with the Acura’s price. But I am not cross shopping this with an R, I am more likely comparing it to an S3.

I think the first generation cars started being  called “Civics” after the second generation arrived.  Nobody wanted to say “CVCC” once they had an alternative in mind.

It’s also entirely possible that she crossed the street at the wrong time, and froze like a deer when she saw the car coming, and didn’t know to keep going or turn around at that split second.”

I currently have a BMW, but I have had a ton of fast Audi’s over the years. Everything that makes an Audi lose a big buff book comparison, makes them awesome street cars. This will be my last BMW, I like my Kidneys too much. Audi just has the compliance/sport ratio completely worked out for a street car.

The best part of attending a race is a pit pass and the carny atmosphere that goes along with the traveling circus. Sitting in the sweltering heat surrounded by other sweat soaked miserable people jockeying for overpriced warm beverages is terrible.

There’s a massive land use issue with Ethanol. It was a poorly thought out idea from that standpoint and it has effects on deforestation and food supply. Like many movements, it was well intended but lacked the required long term/macro view during its formation. The CO2 is only part of the list of problems. We

I recently read that pretty much every EV qualifies for a full tax credit if leased.  It’s a gaping loophole.  I didn’t deep dive into this story but maybe do some googling and see what you can find out.

Apparently, Harley financial sells a poop ton of bad paper.

The “rich” dentist with the big house and the sweet bagger is probably leveraged to the hilt. The ski house, private school tuition and the wife’s fetish for Louis purses has soaked him nearly dry.

Just tell him there’s a run in his chaps and ride away while he tries to find it and rub it out.

The problem isn’t repo men. It’s selling bikes with sub prime lenders at Harley dealerships.

Which ones have succeeded?
