I guess you’ve never been here.

This truck in Colorado is going to get modded and overlanded. It’s a highly desirable starting point, Colorado doesn’t salt roads so the underside should be pretty. Since it’s not pristine, the price is low and no one’s going to feel bad about cutting into it for wheel clearance. As a daily, the X-Terra is terrible.

It’s a transfer case

Wrong again shrill yelling person.

Capitalism may fail. However automation reduces worker leverage, and humans have showed themselves to be easily duped when the capitalists control all media. How do you suppose former workers end capitalism if they have no leverage because they serve no purpose? Revolution?

I am hardly a luddite and my perspective on the satisfaction of doing something skews more Marx than Smith. My capitalist commitment goes only as far as practicality requires.

The discussion has me wondering something.

Choice is a good thing and so is competition. If GMs interface is so great consumers will gravitate toward using it if they have the choice.

I’m a great reader, I read this:

Imagine the opposite of what it sounds like it might mean.

“Whose boots again? You seem very confused.”

“it’s not rewarding?”

If you are going to “whatabout” with other brands as a defense maybe go with snickers or cornflakes. It would be just as relevant. Me? I’m going to watch my neighbor count paint chips on his new X. It’s always entertaining.

I love hate you a lot right now.

Best looking pickup in the history of pickup.

I just said your analogy was bad...I didn’t say a word about Musk.

I think Volvo has been interesting from a design perspective. Even their hyper utilitarian box era had a certain style to it.

Those are some lovely Volvo’s but...

Bad analogy. The Nazi’s at MB and VW are long dead.

It’s got good torque for the era around 260 ft lbs.
