Once you agree to buy something, its future value is irrelevant.”

Lets say they have one car with a $700 payment...That is $8400 per year. The second car is paid for but needs more frequent repairs and maintenance. Both cars need gas and insurance.

What you consider a lot of money could be a non-issue to other people.”

First...Bluetooth?...It is fine for the park or the airplane, but i am not listening to that through a good soundsystem. I have standards.

People are insane.

I think the supposition here is that the current Republican party is unmoored from any sort of platform or cogent policy approach. The current platform appears to be nothing more than own the libs. They rarely present solutions. They are opposed to the ACA and tried to remove it, but they have never presented a plan

if you’re still a republican at THIS point, you’re a POS.“

Safer than a human?

The comments are interesting.

I don’t disagree at all.  I mention in my post that F1 is way more of a Manufacturers championship...But even with those conditions F1 attracts the best of the best drivers. An F1 seat is the gold standard in open wheel racing.  I suspect Hamiltons trophy case would overflow if he moved to Indy.

Dropped at Highway speed…that detail matters

But clearly, the technology needs work.“

An IndyCar driver and an F2 driver walk into a bar. Who gets more respect? The IndyCar driver, because the races are longer, faster, more dangerous and closer in competition.”

I know exactly what defund the police means and we probably agree that a more counterproductive marketing strategy would be hard to come by.

Show me where a fast worker makes minimum wage in the US.

You aren’t telling me anything I don’t know. The disagreement falls on how we will get better police with less money? I do not see that as possible. Competition is the key to getting the best people in any position in any industry. Making a job in policing worth considering for highly qualified, highly motivated

Two huge problems here. The first is the police in this story aren’t in Denver, they are out in the rural countryside.

Obviously money has to come with civilian oversight or, you are right, they will buy an aircraft carrier.

I’m an Occam’s Razor type. Until further information is available I will look at what I see and draw the most likely conclusion.

I half agree with you. Rebuilding is essential. Police Unions need to vanish (I am normally pro union but the police unions seem to spend way too much time protecting the worst offenders in their population) and qualified immunity needs to become historic.
