You hit the nail on the head. My Tacoma maintenance light comes on and I just keep driving. Any GTI or R I have owned never makes it to the light coming on. I do mileage service intervals that are under recommendations. I have never had any sort of major assembly problem with a dub.

As an old who has recently owned a few GTI’s and an R it’s all about the seller. There are plenty of Gen Xer’s driving GTI’s and R’s.  Very few of us are willing to put up with a WRX/STI interior.  So...Check the seller and check between the lines on the carfax.  If you see a ton of dealer maintenance entries, you…
