I mostly use siri. But I am not sure how the Mazda knob compares to the Audi knob, but I never had any problem not touching the screen in my Audi to use CarPlay.

CarPlay is fantastic. It eliminates the need for the manufacturer to give me crappy soon to be outdated apps. It improves with regular updates.

I haven’t sat in a MK VIII yet, but the luxury standards of the MKVII were not far off the A3 at all. I owned an S3 and a Golf R and it was neck and neck from a luxury standpoint.
