Driving back from work today, I gun the throttle to take a nice sweeper off ramp, then..
I haven't installed the manual throttle cable yet, so the car jerks when i let off the accelerator. Stupid auto kick down switch.
Picking up an 07 V70R, Black with Nordkap interior for 10k. Will fit nicely along side my crappy looking, but quick, 854R.
A little bit of soldering and some drilling, and now I have an aux input in the 850R. No more stupid cassette adapters for me!
Went to the salvage yard last week, found an N/A V70 with poly engine mount bushings. A complete set runs about 120 at the cheapest. Me? I paid $4.50 for 3. And they're poly bushings, meaning they will pretty much last forever. I really needed new bushings for the 850R, since pretty much all of them were cracked.

I have the chance to buy a 2006 S60R, auto (wahh) 63,000 miles, Nordkap. $10,000. Same guy who sold me my previous S60R. Should I go for it? Its rebuilt, like my last S60R, but it is SOLID. Drove it for a day, the guy let me use it for a day to feel it out.
I regret nothing. Because I found a 2000 V70R for $1250 with transmission issues.
