I think the current gen Boxsters look excellently un 911-ish in a way that Caymans can't pull off, despite being nearly identical. All I can think when I see a 981 Boxster in person is "DAMN that looks NICE".

At that point it's really a decision of whether you like your Porsche rear-engine flavored or mid-engine flavored.
I wonder why there's a 981 Boxster pulling away at the beginning on the left. Did it start as a hopeless drag race? Looks like launch control may have helped the Boxster, but once the F1 hooked up it was game over.
Maybe not the best ever made, but I sure count myself lucky to drive this lil' fella every day and take care of it all on my own.
I wonder if he would have travelled just a *tiny* bit further if there wasn't a spoiler on the back getting rid of the rear end lift.
It looks like a tracking shot where they matched the speed perfectly of the Ferrari in a chase car (probably not even driving very quickly) and then set up a slightly long exposure to blur the background. Since the chase car is matching speed, the photographer can make the Ferrari very in-focus. It also looks like…
Be an adult and go away.
Wow these are HORRIBLE.
Makes me wonder, doesn't that eliminate one of the ways you can tell something is wrong with your engine/exhaust? If the sound is artificially produced, it's always going to sound perfect, right?
Boxster...maybe?
For what it's worth, that's an acoustic guitar case.
Technically, yes. I believe a couple of races this year one of the drivers actually ran out of gas as they crossed the finish line. I think it may have been the German GP.
*snickers*
Love love love
As a Custom Robo fan and a Gundam fan, I thought— OH MAN I GET MORE CUSTOM ROBO AND GUNDAM THIS IS COOL. But that's most because I know I'm never going to get any new custom robo games ever again...
Only if you stick a 911 engine in the Cayman.
Buying any porsche new is nuts. Considering how well used ones are taken care of, there's no reason not to get one that's a few years older for tens of thousands less. So you won't get the newest bestest thing? Doesn't matter.
No.
They're wonderful. I miss mine a bunch.
Higher top speed =/= faster.
Think cornering speeds. On average, I'd be willing to bet a Formula One car could outpace an Indy car by a large margine.
