Jesus... what a bitch. I wouldn't give her a pass at all either. Getting married means you should be humbly thanking everyone around you for all the things they're doing to make that day special. Instead of fat shaming you she should be grateful you're not showing up strung out on heroin. I've seen it happen happen.

"There's no reason not to believe that this latest season will end with Betty becoming a 70s-era gang lord in an increasingly violent New York." Was actually what I was commenting on, the spoiler alert comment seemed absurd enough to connect the two but I can understand how that wasn't clear.

Only if you want to pay way too much, that is to say all vintage shops are ridiculously overpriced. I would go with Amazon personally, but that lacks the tactile shopping experience you may be looking for.

    Jesus, spoiler alert...

I was thinking the same thing. I mean it's not like homophobia isn't a part of rap and tied to all the bravado and other bullshit. But Frank Ocean's sexuality isn't what distinguishes him from being a rapper, and it shouldn't exclude him either.

I'm sorry (not sorry), but Courtney Love is the last person that gets to comment on Ellen DeGeneres. In fact this just makes me loathe her more. Ellen has shed more talent while sleeping than Courtney ever had to begin with.

You keep referring to "overweight" and "excess weight" as though they are the same while equating them to obesity. It's obesity that's unhealthy, or more accurately it's certain life style habits related to obesity that are unhealthy. Average people can live healthy lives and still be considered overweight because

There's a reply in this thread where I explain that all of the "contenders" in this game are irrelevant, you're only reiterating my point.

As much as I love modern conveniences like air conditioning and washing machines, sometimes I think we should just start over.

It was "edgy" when Burroughs wrote about it, because that kind of shit didn't get published. It was an interesting backdrop when Thompson wrote about it because he was an amazing fucking author. This, this is just the kind of banal attention whoring I've come to expect as a consequence of humans living in a world

"The fact that people choose to be in shape doesn't make them narcissists or fat shamers..."

Well yeah that's what I'm saying. It's odd to refer to this whole poll as irrelevant because of exclusion, well, duh that is the point of it.

Fair enough, I retract my comment about him being irrelevant (because honestly that was more of a shitty reference to him being dead). And yes taste is subjective, but there are obvious objective ways in which we can measure music. That a musician is popular has always struck me as the most meaningless ways to measure

Please don't disparage absurdity by comparing it with this nonsense.

Lol. Not once did I say that he didn't have a huge impact on music. I'm just saying that's not what I measure importance by. For example World War II had a devastating impact that is still felt today, but that doesn't make it a good thing.

Okay I have to admit that made me chuckle. This one time my sister was obsessed with NKOTB. Okay what am I saying she still is, but going back to the day... when they originally broke up I called in sick to school and arranged her entire collection of dolls as though they had committed suicide. Slit wrists, a rope,

    WORD.

Having both I have to say the anxiety is the worst.

Same here. I realize it may seem dumb to compare the death of a head of state with the death of a musician but let's be honest, politicians haven't been cool for a very long time.

I think pitting the Brat Pack against MTV is hardly a fair match up given the fact that we thought they were cool because of MTV. So I guess that's a vote for MTV by default, which is difficult because I still wear gloves with cut out fingers.
