Watched the full video without the audio on and it feels a little like “We turned that one boulder into 3 boulders and are going home now” by the end of it.

I already have all the consoles and if I had to choose just one to keep I’d keep my Xbox One. The horsepower difference between it and the PS4 is negligible but it also does a bunch of other cool stuff.
Ref doesn’t even check on the victim? I guess asking a kid to show you his balls, even if to make sure they’re still attached, is a thing that you never want to do.
I saw like 10 at Target the other day...
Easiest way to get something from the TV to the Youtube is to use the Youtube conversion device (phone).
If this is secretly the Subway marketing team’s replacement for Jared, they may have just won me back.
One more company jumping into the EV market (I think this is Hyundai’s first?)
I heard a rumor that he actually parked a Mirage.
My wife and I recently rewatched IV-VI with the commentary on and are working our way through I-III with the commentary on. The alarming thing is the tone that Lucas manages to go through when discussing his thought process. He CLEARLY had a very different point of view for how to execute making the original trilogy,…
Definitely not priced out of it. I’m salty about it because it means sales are going to be poor for something that needs to be strong out of the gate to establish a base. It makes me question if I want to bother jumping in or go with a competitor. OR was at the top of my list, and now it’s most definitely not.
Being an owner of DK1 and DK2 doesn’t mean if you could be so damn wrong about how Time Warp works. Owning something does not bestow any sort of knowledge about how the damn thing actually works.
You are completely oblivous to how Time Warp works if you think it’s rendering whole new frames to handle it. Time Warp uses a very LOW resource requirements process to make slight tweaks to an already rendered frame. It does NOT render a whole new frame the same way the original frame has been rendered.
I am disappointed. Kotaku should have done the smart thing and gone to a scoring system that consists of binary codes for ASCII characters with no clear definition of what they mean.
There are already laws in place that cover it, even though they are older than the crowdfunding idea.
That Minecraft question was rhetorical. Minecraft can be run at like 600FPS on old hardware, yet somehow the Rift hardware has requirements that are high in comparison.
So you’re saying it can’t even run Minecraft without the requirement they’ve provided?
No dude. No games use ray-tracing for rendering. No commercial games anyways. That is a HUGELY demanding method for rendering images and no games use it. You are completely misunderstanding how games go about creating each frame if you are going to be bringing ray-tracing into the conversation. That stuff is used for…
I can’t shake the feeling that the deer got eaten whole and is looking out through a window.
Holy crap, I got a ton of replies so I will just reply to you since my post was in response to yours. Makes sense!
Having frozen a few propane tanks to my deck when homebrewing in the rain, I can attest to the fantastic cooling properties of the stuff.
