Sure, but then this is a bad example of that. It seems very possible that someone can do both these things honestly and believe in them. Humans are capable mental acrobats in a way that isn’t always sinister, and this is as clear cut as it gets.

Man, I think that’s a really fussy and fickle way to dissect a situation that is pretty nuanced, but not difficult to unpack.
