Would watch.

I love this thread. We also loved Stephen Colbert’s Conservative pundit alter-ego. Because all of those characters were well written and funny. Haven’t seen this show, but I’m pretty sure it’s not either of those things.

Janet should come on stage and tear out Justin’s crotch area, revealing one ball with a fidget spinner spinning on it.

He cuts holes in the flag to use it as a poncho, but that doesn’t offend people because he is a white republican.

Worst Case Scenario: Jimmy Fallon runs 4 hours of pre-show “entertainment”, then when that is finally over we get to watch another Patriots Super-Bowl win, with halftime “entertainment” by Justin Timberlake.

I didn’t know about the fuck you to 7th heaven, but that’s good to know. My opinion of her is slightly elevated now. I just find her ridiculously boring and can’t figure out how she’s managed to have a career for so long. So I get irritable about it, because it’s easier to focus on that than things that matter in the

It’s a sad state of affairs when this country was incensed because they saw a tit on TV, yet saw fit to put a dick in the White House.

Libertarians always want to differentiate themselves from conservatives, because they think it makes them sound smarter. That’s certainly why I did it in my misguided and misspent youth.

Yes. Assuming that leaving everyone alone would result in everyone having the same ‘liberty’ and options is deeply conservative thinking.

I like how he backdoor-complimented himself about being funny. Except that he’s wrong.

Never go with a hippie to a second location

“Libertarianism is all about individual liberty, and it should never be defined by the terms liberal or conservative.” - Ron Swanson on libertarianism, from the best damn episode of TV ever written, Flu Season.

This. He’s missing that the problem is his simplistic takes on modern man aren’t fucking funny, at least to people that occasionally leave their neighborhood and travel to brown-people places.

Absolutely! It’s sad that conservatives just don’t seem to understand Norman Lear and simply take Archie Bunker at face value with zero sense of irony.

Remember that time that Tim Allen got busted for drunk driving?

Yeah talk about not understanding what Archie Bunker was

And Ron Swanson.

All In The Family, or “Archie Bunker” as Tim Allen calls it (he may be thinking of the spinoff, “Archie Bunker’s Place”) was a cultural force because of Norman Lear and how it held a stark light up to outdated bigoted sentiment in the face of the cultural revolution of the late Sixties and Seventies.

But there is nothing more dangerous, especially in this climate, than a funny, likable conservative character

Tim Allen had six seasons of his dumb fucking show (that I actually had no idea that it existed) and 130 episodes. He’s got enough that it can go into syndication and he can get sweet moolah for doing nothing. How much more does this snowflake cuck want. Sorry Tim, it’s not that you’re conservative; it’s that YOU’RE
