Does the xb1 offer any ad controls/settings? Like limiting the insane volume that the 360 ads had.

Also really loved the Xenosaga series. Was saddened when they fucked up the initial plans to make a 6 game story arc.
Every time I hear 'Miracuru' I want to stab myself in the eye. Personally I'm looking forward to the flash since the awkward nerd turn superhero is a trope that I rarely tire of.
I love how welcoming people are to the wonderful world of Xbox. Online only shooter sequel to single player puzzle/strategy game. Totally intuitive.
Really odd branding, I instinctively want to read it as id10tXBOX.
You hit the nail on the head. I was on the 3rd cycle when I posted this right before the pervy sage started to provide an alternative to the 4HOL's quest(and it really started to resonate story-wise). Leading up to that point aside from subtle shifts in dialogue and tone it was starting to get old.
The whole groundhog's day gimmick was really interesting story-wise, but was a huge drag. I feel like they missed an opportunity with the secondary quest battles to add a greater degree of variation (like they did with Lester, Braev, or the first monk/mage battle). Also having scenarios where roles were shifted…
seems like Marvel is going for a Firefly dynamic with the team which garners no complaints from me.
Hope there is news on X and SMT vs Fire Emblem. Not going to hold my breath, but some Metroid and Bravely Default Wii U announcements would be welcomed too.
One odd thing that I ended up really digging was that your can press right on the D-pad to select in addition to b (keep wanting to say x, damn you sony). That and the bumpers for brave/default felt really intuitive in battle. The PSX-era square feel and job system are also major plus.
With all of the craze behind minecraft and user generated content in games like littlebigplanet, I never understood why nintendo doesn't create some sort of retro game designer. Possibly even allowing users to add additional assets to the game by downloading new VC games.
I recently built a HTPC for around $500 (which admittedly could have been done cheaper but aesthetics was a factor) and it was by far the best investment I have made in the past few years. The biggest hurdle for mass market adoption really has to do with ease of usability. Consoles trade off power for stability and…
The issue with SM3 was the uneven tone and odd musical numbers. The need for having all 3 dimensional / sympathetic villains is wasted on second and third tier characters like the rhino. Especially if goblin is doing recon on Spider-Man (my guess per the trailer). Unleashing the rhino could (hopefully) be an awesome…
was looking forward to a 2.5d Metroid.
Agreed. While the PS2 era of square-enix was far more prolific than this generation, nothing can top the PSX squaresoft era.
I really do wish sony and namco would partner up to bring those tales games over on the vita. even if it is a text only translation both would be day one purchases for me.
All of these E3 recaps seem to point out how lame last year's E3 was. Hopefully this year they won't be showing stuff that still needs 2+ years of development.
Instead they will devote time to their RPG powerhouse: Fantasy Football.
hopefully the new SE president looks to these successes rather than their recent microtransaction heavy mobile exploits.
