Right. The gist of it is that automakers are creating brand-new niches for crossovers. This large-subcompact segment is pretty new, and incorporates models that neatly straddle the line between subcompact (like the Trax) and compact (like the Equinox). The Nissan Rogue Sport was arguably the first one, but now there

Which is exactly why it’s so confusing, and people will leave the brand entirely.

My hottest take: 11 second 0-60 times are perfectly fine for the average commuter.

It’s not a new improved Equinox. Equinox still exists as a smaller-than-Blazer-and-larger-than-Trailblazer model.

Compared with the likes of the Urus, Bentayga, and Cullinan, this actually looks pretty darn good!

by Antonio I hope you mean Banderas because there’s no way Giovanazzi should be allowed within 50 miles of Maranello. He’s been predictably terrible this year.

I agree with there put strategy problem. Mattia also can't figure out if he favors Better, or Leclerc. I get the feeling that Ferrari's overall team don't trust one another.

Allegedly? Were they banging ostriches?

Yes their pit strategy hasnt been great, but its still better than the last 5 years which was god awful.

Correct take. Also the best thing they could do right now is drop Vettle. Leclerc has great potential and the team treating Vettle like god is holding him back.

1. 2020 engine and cars are mostly fixed by now. The damn cars need to run in 3 months.

How is their engine so bad and so good? They have up to 50hp more than everyone else if reports are to be believed. Maybe they’re pushing it too far to counter Mercedes or maybe they’re doing all kinds of questionable things to get those numbers.

I mean, when you look at it historically, every time Mercedes have decided they’re going to dominate a motorsport series.....they have. I think Ferrari have done quite good, particularly considering how Red Bull wiped the floor with them prior to the new regs.

I’m pretty sure Tommy Callahan did the best explanation of cheap vs expensive brake pads ever

Now playing

Just hovering over the Earth with some rods from God. COBRAAAAAA!

They’re all idiots and are doing a lot to hurt the image of people/politicians pushing for meaningful climate change solutions.  Major turn off.

Bro.  We get it.  You don’t like Corvettes.  You don’t have to be the first poster on every Corvette article giving us another reason why you hate Corvettes.

Unlikely for a number of reasons. First, it’s hard to make a flat-plane in that large of displacement due to harmonics (although, again, this is conjecture on my part). Second, the GS for the last two generations has had the base engine, although they added a dry sump system to it last gen. The Z06 has always been the

I don’t think anyone disputes the advantage in breathing at high revs for DOHC.  It’s odd there are still those disputing the size, weight, and simplicity advantages of the OHV SBC.

Hard to get worse
