Well in fairness they do sometimes around where I live. However bears are bigger and unlikely to be in your shower.

That’s how the movie ends. Spider to the face and a cut to black. Roll credits.

The worst part is you have a screaming snake.

You do get used to huntsman spiders sneaking into the house through the year (especially when our three cats are pretty good at making sure said spider becomes a toy/snack pretty quickly), but I can’t imagine ever becoming accustomed to one inside the car (hasn’t happened to me yet - if/when it does, you’ll hear my

There’s a reason you’re spending Thanksgiving alone.

In 1989, my godmother was taking a shower, when she looked up and saw a huntsman spider roughly the size of a dinner plate right above her head. She thought, ‘no worries, I will just calmly and quietly finish up this shower before he has a chance to move.’ Right at that moment, the Newcastle earthquake stuck, rattling

Not in Australia and not a spider BUT coming back to where you thought you left a creepy crawly: Several years ago on the 4th of July my younger son came out of the bathroom and announced “There’s a snake behind the toilet”

NO.

It wasn’t exciting, but it wasn’t as boring as the rest of the 1.5-mile races have typically been, either.

You didn’t watch the race. You have no right to call the race boring, sleep-inducing, or anything else.

Glad to see my favorite driver “anyone but Kyle Busch” win the Championship.

Now if they could just bring back the Mazdaspeed 6 life would be truly grand.

I don’t know... those late 90's GT1's were beautiful cars. Even if the series ate itself, it was worth it for the cars we got out of it. Those 993 and 996 GT1's are some of my all time favorites. I feel like sports car racing is like a big party. Everybody starts showing up, the party really gets going, it starts

Still a few years away though. WC still has pretty solid grids of GT3 cars, but it won’t last forever. It helps that GT3 cars can run worldwide and in the US in WC and GTD. So its not running into the “only works in one class/series” problem.

By the time of the GT1 Vette it was well beyond the heyday of ultra GT1 cheater cars (the Mercedes CLK-LM, Porsche 911 GT1, Toyota GT-One, Nissan R390) that were the prototypes of the day. At that point actual prototypes had returned and GT1 was semi-equivalent of GT-LM today, albeit GT1 cars back then were basically

Oh come the fuck on, that’s what we have the other GT classes for! Le Mans thinks the solution to its LMP1 ills is to become fucking NASCAR? FOH with that noise. LMP1 is supposed to be super futuristic closed-wheel closed-cockpit cars that look like spacecraft and sometimes take off like them. I do NOT want to see a

Isn’t this what GT1 cars basically were in the 2000's? I distinctly remember hearing rumblings about how the GT1 Vette was basically a front engine prototype with Vette body work. Manufacturers basically dropped out because of the cost.
