All I want to do is swap in any of the common modern LS engines, heck even a junk yard swap LS1. Just wish I had the time and space to do it. Oh, and maybe knowing what I was doing would help.

$14,990. Seats 7. LT1. Lingenfelter. WAGON. You won’t find a better data mobile. Dad Jokes on cassette included. Do we need any more explanation? Please buy it so I don’t have to keep sulking over my wife telling me I can’t have it.

You have made me 2 counts smarter today. Much appreciated!

Exactly! “Well my set up looked good during the simulations!” LOL.

The exact words they used were “All the fancy trick parts we spend time building and F*&^% duct tape adds 20 counts of sideforce” for what ever that’s worth. Not sure if they were exaggerating with the 20 or not but they said they were surprised how much it helped. Wish I knew how many pounds of force a count equals

You may also notice that they stuck a piece of tape in front of the RR wheel opening creating more sideforce. This lets them run the chassis super free while letting the Aero keep the car straight instead of mechanical grip (which induces scrub).

Its good to see another brand honoring the RWD gods. Now as a group of collective Americans lets all talk about it online but not go buy it and let it die on the vine next to the ATS and XE and buy 320i’s and Entry C Classes instead. Can’t show up to parent teacher night looking like a peasant!

You are correct, most of these rules are already here. They think sealing the bottom end will save money, but race teams are like the government. Once they have learned how to spend 15-20 million a season, the want to continue to spend that much. Teams spend a LOT at the wind tunnel testing a 1/32 in flair in the

I have no desire to own a Hybrid or Electric car. I would not be opposed to owning a fun, sporty car that used Hybrid or Electrification to enhance the experience. The 918, P1, LaFerrari, they use Hybrid Technology to enhance the car. The Hybrid or Electric Model of any mainstream car does not seem to be aimed at

#SmallTeamSunday !!!!!

Sage should be penalized. He will probably lose his seat as well. A brand like Lexus doesn’t want to deal with his mentality on the track. I will say that Katherine has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I believe she has managed to be involved in on track kerfuffles at Limerock, now VIR, and

ALWAYS!

I find the perfectly preserved “average” cars so interesting. That pristine Cavalier and that wood paneled Lebaron. I just think that is pretty cool. I have no scientific facts to back that up. Strictly based on an emotion reaction realizing someone truly loved those two basic ordinary cars enough to preserve

100%. There is a direct correlation to the number of templates going up, and viewership going down. If you look at pictures of the cars from 2007 that were super twisted up and look at the cars today, the teams are STILL figuring out ways around it. You will still see that LR quarter tapers in toward the centerline

I agree. NASCAR at Limerock Park might be one of the most entertaining races anyone has ever seen in their entire life. Good old fashioned rubbing and moving people out of the way. The only problem is that they cannot race on Sunday’s. It would need to be a two day friday and saturday show.

Indycar is experiencing growth. They have a single supplier for most (all?) chassis parts. They have 2 engine suppliers to purchase engines from. They take the same car to road courses that they do street course that they do speedways. Only the bodywork attached will change. I believe most teams only have one

Does that look like it might share the same underpinnings as the Toyota Supra project they are helping with? It looks similar to some of the renderings we have seen IMHO.

This track put on some GREAT racing. Its up there with Lucas Oil/O’Reilly/Indianapolis Raceway Park, Salem, South Boston for putting on some absolutely great shows. Multi-groove side by side racing was the norm. Pouring some out for one of the good ones gone too soon.

Agreed. I tried to watch the 2016 season of Formula E. I just did not enjoy it. Top talent in the cars, but it is missing 3 of the 4 things that make racing great. Speed, Sound, Smells, but it does have competition. I believe the rules have opened up a little to allow the teams some development with the power

100% agreed. Only what, 14 cars made that final restart? Darkness approaching? That last green at least gave drivers a chance to improve their position. As far as the quote, typical NASCAR suits. They might be the worst executive team in sports. I lost count on how many times they have tried to dance around what
