I am not sure if it is the lack of graphics and matte paint, but the waist on the STR car looks impressively Kate Moss full blown coke habit skinny. Ill have to look up trap speeds this season and follow along, that car looks awful slippery. I am amazed it has any sort of cooling what so ever with packaging that

Not gasoline, but companies sell several kinds of track prep that they spray on the ground right before their burn out. Works the chemicals into the tire to help build “Bite” with out making the tire to soft and sticky. This way, the tire will not spin as much while at the same time not get too soft and rob power

Sort of, I guess its a matter of semantics.

I agree with you. If the restrictor got through scrutineering at the roar, and pre race scrutineering for the Rolex, it should have been allowed. Going forward, ban it. I get that, correcting for your mistake for the next round is logical.

Late to the reply party...

And in other news, the sky is blue and water is wet.

Just commented above with the same sentiment before I saw you post. I have to DVR each race and start watching it an hour behind schedule so I can fast forward through the garbage.

They get them. Every 7-10 laps. On the nose. Every time. I am forced to DVR every race and watch it on an hour delay so I can Fast Forward through the same viagra, ford truck, eluquis, anti-biologic commercial that I am forced to watch over, and over, and over, and over......

1 Mill means the team is making money on the endeavor. If a team needs their primary car in the race, and this isn’t going to some second level team trying to put Jr HotShoe in a second or third team car, they can get desperate. I am thinking 600-750K might be enough to get the side pods and the wing. I mean that is

Its not what, it is how you hoon.

Now that is a cool story. These are the things I do not hear about and I wish I heard about a lot more! It’s cool to hear about NASCAR and NHRA doing all of the right things and helping make the experience special for young and diverse fans. A marketing campaign is one thing, but that personal touch gets you hooked

Bubba Wallace is trying, he was just out-shined by his teammate in 2015 more often than not. He was fast, just not fast enough.

Speaking of lame duck, do you think the tube frame DP cars are long for this world? With P3 taking off and P2 seeming pretty healthy, I can’t see these DP cars continuing to race with out being able to have a shot at Le Mans. Or, do they just not care that much about going to Europe? Personally, I think they are great

I am not a proclaimed stance guy myself, but I dig the build. Original and very clean. Good work man I hope you get to enjoy it for a long time.

Hahaha yes, that is probably the most logical thought on Kinja today.

Haha sandbagging, as old as the sport itself. The first sandbag happened when a person go the second car on earth, telegraphed up the first guy, asked to race, and said his car had 11hp instead of the 13 it actually had.

Neither are you. The manufacturer would love a 1-2-3 win by two laps, but we the fan would not.

You’re not wrong.

This is like that first week of American Idol where they go up and sing and are genuinely surprised when they get hard core rejected. I am wondering if people at the university were just too polite to tell them it was awful?
