I though by "Phalanx" you meant the Travian unit.

@SageofMusic: I love Castlevania and am loving LoS. The story is excellent, the combat is superbly challenging, and the environments are gorgeous. You might not get the huge amounts of playtime that Fallout or Rock Band would bring, but 18-20+ hours is nothing to sneeze at.
This movie's gonna be good, cheesy fun.
@DarkHogosha: One dude? But these indie releases are killin' it on every level. Nobody is a jack of all trades & good at all of them. He must be an insomniac.
Sheezus, where's the awesome music and SFX I enjoyed playing Inferno? Did their sound guy quit?
@njolnin: That's not Kotaku, that's Luke.
@Travis Young Faulds: Thaaaaat's Luke, for you. At first I didn't know what a contrarian naysayer he was being — this is the first review I've seen of the game — But after reading these comments I can tell that his opinion sits on the low end of the spectrum.
@WildTangent01: wrought.
I was honestly silently lamenting about the lack of games with a really solid, simple, artful aesthetic just moments ago. Then I opened this article and played the video.
@Rubberkitty: I'm pretty sure there's a good chunk of the map that I've never seen, and yeah, even after reading a guide, I've never beaten it. I should play it on my DS emulator, which has a rewind function, and see if I can make it through.
I only have to name one. Legacy of the Wizard @ 6:39!
@RockyRan: I Second this. Thanks for speaking up for those of us that didn't feel up to typing that much.
This is a huge load of hot smoke. I've read enough finance articles to smell this kind of "I've got some sort of personal interest in this so I'm going to hype it" BS from a mile away.
@sarcastic.angel: If she gets a spot on network television, it'll be a full frontal ASSault on our nation's mORAL fabric!
@Wade McGillis: No, I don't...
Castlevania: LoS. @ The end of chapter 2, I'm finally really getting a hang on the combat. & that 2nd Titan is amazing! But I was told it was the last of it's kind... I hope that's not true — I was promised multiple titans by every review I read, which, in my mind, does not equal 2.
@magnakaiser: I don't get why Kotaku doesn't just open a YouTube account and place videos there. They could advertise on their YouTube videos/channel just like they do on this site, and the player would be almost universally compatible with all devices.
@Hongo: Man, that game was dope... I played way more of that and SkiFree than I should... would have if my parents had bought me a SNES.
BAMBOO!
Mine downloaded to 99% and was stuck there for hours. When I cancelled the download and went to use the "download again" link, it wanted to charge me the $20 for it.
