I just read this short story a week ago. The "demon" brother was just a poorly fleshed out stereotype (not sure how he was a demon, exactly) and the other brother was just an egocentric projection of the artist's own idyllic version of herself. The story had promise, but it didn't go anywhere and its resolution

I've seen many modern films, and a few games, with latently racist imagery. Watch the scene that unfolds when the explorers first land on King Kong's island in Peter Jackson's remake — that's pretty fuckin' racist. Or the way black people living inside the Prawn camp in District 9 act — filled with racist overtones.

Ugh, this is terrible. He made some great films. RIP.

First person, when it's done right. Some games make me feel too "close" to the world, like someone has moved the zoom ring on the lens, or is pushing on the back of my head.

Man, I love Halloween, and I really love it in videogame form. The Halloween segment in Bully was awesome — for no tangible reason that I can describe.
