As someone who has worked in abortion care for 20 years (and, in the past, PP for close to 4 years of that)... PP is not a great place for many employees. They operate in disorganization and chaos. Regardless of how PP brands themselves, if folks support abortion access, they should sent their donations and support to

SERIOUSLY. The boy is beautiful and I can listen to him sing all day but he can’t act. I have no problem if he wants to cameo in things. But he cannot carry a fucking move, come on.

If Democrats choose not to take her words down, they’ll literally be changing the House rules.

I feel attacked. Who did Halle hurt to be stuck with such... meh?

He isn’t pretty enough. I’m imagining Chris Pine with a wig.

The guy looks like Simple Jack from Tropic Thunder to me.

Remember the fuckwits that were poo-poohing Rapinoe’s comments on visiting Biff because “they’re not gonna win so it won’t matter anyway.”? Good times.

Harry Styles looks like an Osmond, not Elvis...

I imagine it’s hard for Ivanka too* because throughout her whole life, she has gotten pretty much everything she wanted because of family money, including being shielded from bad things like criticism. When her dad became president, I bet this is the first time in her life she has received this much personal criticism

Yeah, it’s still a choice. If a woman is being controlled by her husband, we need to do a better job helping victims of domestic abuse—not restricting what women can do with their bodies “for their own good.” We need to do a better job legislating minimum reimbursements for women who want to be surrogates, not telling

I can see why it rubs you the wrong way, but at the end of the day a woman’s reproductive system is hers to handle however she chooses. That’s my reductive feminist take. If she wants to market it? Go for it. A doctor will inform her of all the risks and a lawyer will inform her of all the messy legalities.

You don’t have to abolish the traditional family in order to make non-traditional or chosen families acceptable.

It’s interesting that Taylor, a woman who had a lot more resources than the average artists, got screwed over. Now imagine what happens to the black artists who come from poverty. I also think there’s a lot more to this story than what her side is selling. Her family had enough money to buy a 4% stake in Big Machine

I do have issues with a record label owning the creative works of an artist in perpetuity.

Yes, yes, I agree that “Taylor Swift is just invoking feminism here to advance her own interests” is very boring and cliched and often advanced in bad faith; I’m so aware of it I almost didn’t say anything and regret doing so!

I don’t think you’re reading that Variety article clearly.

I’m sure this situation sucks for her and the music industry has long been exploitive in this way, but most artists don’t own their masters and she had a chance to negotiate for them (and probably frankly could have gotten involved with some other people to buy Big Machine). That’s more than most artists get. Her

So I decided to read up on this because honestly I don’t trust Taylor Swift. In my eyes she’s the paragon of manipulative feminism. She’s only a supporter when it benefits her and her outing by KimK just confirmed to me what I was suspicious about all along.

In order to enjoy PaR I have to pretend Crisp Rat doesn’t exist and that Andy Dwyer is a real person just playing himself.

“Tribe” but also “squad” 🙄
