What’s happened to me here in SF is that Tesla’s are so omnipresent, that any magic has warn off. I’ve also driven and ridden in enough to be tired of the crappy minimalist interiors and terrible tablet-oriented interfaces. Sure, charger network and range, yada yada yada, don’t care. I want something with a real

Yeah, that’ll be more ‘NO!’ From me.

The fact that they made such a low-profile reveal tells me all I need to know. These are showroom status-sales, not passion sales. The M-Division put their C-team on the development of these. Hans in the M-Division said, “are you fucking kidding me? ... Johan! You’re no longer designing door handles, you’re leading

That’s pretty terrible. Also, we need more colors in this world.

+1000 - This is the anti-Singer. Where every Singer seems to have impeccable style, perfect materials selection, and well thought out colors, I can’t get behind this. Black wheels on an old 993 don’t work. Black wheels are played out anyway, but on an older car, look off. The gold is a bit tacky. It’s just ... no.

Ya’ll some boring people up in here. It’s glorious that this exists, same for the Hellcat. ‘murica. I live within an hour of two tracks, so I would find the limits.

Nah. I’m old enough to afford one, and still want one ... after the kids get bigger ... and we get a bigger house .... and maybe a vacation house ... and I pay for their college ... and clear out the garage, cuz I got an old classic in there and three bikes. Maybe get a boat first. OK, maybe I don’t reaaaally want one.

This. I’ve been thinking about what I would I would replace my DD with. I have two small kids that I occasionally need to shuttle. Enthusiast/Sportscar options are 911 variant .... and? There are GT cruisers that are in a whole different league (DB11) or your normal sports coupes (M3, RS5,GT350) etc, but the 911 holds

Why should the government reward bad behavior? Screw these guys. Welcome to the future.

OK. I’m in my 40's and have heard ‘Send it’ for long enough that I could only give a reasonable guess on years. 90's? Whoever thought it originated in 2017 must have been born post-2000.

I saw the unedited video, and right before the start, the driver hits Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right A B A B Start.

I was 11 when this movie came out and hated it. I think I was the exact wrong age. I was getting out of cartoons and trying to be more grown up, so this hit all the wrong notes. Maybe I should give it another go.

Guys, what about Obama?

I’ve taken public transport all over the world, lived in 8 of the largest 10 cities in the U.S. My point still stands. Public transit only really works well on limited numbers of corridors in the most population dense areas. I’m not saying to get rid of it. When it works, it works. Just don’t subsidize it and embrace

Here is a hot take. We should stop subsidizing public transit and subsidize Lyft and Uber for low-income riders. It would be more efficient than deploying more underutilized, poorly managed, and poorly planned buses and trains. I use public transit periodically, but it really only makes sense in very limited

Fiat Abarths have excellent steering, but they also track grooves and are skittish on the highway. Excellent steering is not what most buyers actually want, they want predictable and stable steering. Weight also has a lot to do with it.

I side with Uber here. This has nothing to do with helping cab drivers and everything to do with “kissing the ring” and padding Erdogan’s offshore bank account.

I was putting 19's and 20's on Supras and Lexus GS’s in the 90's. What cars are you looking at? The press photos show 964's and an E30 M3. Plenty of 90's cars can fit 17+. Early Evos and STi’s came with 17's and those came out in the early 90's.

This is a case where statistics matter and sample sizes. Has any journalist bothered to see if Uber is safer or less safe RELATIVE to other modes of transport? This is such bullshit sensationalist journalism without that. Isn’t it 103 cases out of BILLIONS of rides. What are the stats on taxis and buses?

WTF are you talking about? How many sexual assaults were there on the CTA, taxis, buses, etc. I’m guessing it’s similar or higher per-rider-mile. Didn’t Uber do BILLIONS of rides in that timeframe? This is pure sensationalist journalism.
