I agree. Bahar had serious vision, and his vision got me excited about the future of Lotus. I never understood the hate. New management always finds reasons to villianize prior management. They have to justify their existence. This is just ho-hum.

I think that you are thinking of it backwards. Currently only super-rich folk can make it to the big leagues, it is obscenely expensive to go through the ranks, even for the most talented. The super-rich folk will still be able to go through the ranks the traditional ways and spend their way into a seat, but now you…
I get it. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, only believe those things that perfectly align with your current beliefs and biases.
Irregardless of your opinion, it is a word. 'Douchiest' is also a word. Go read Eats, Shoots & Leaves again.
I'm still waiting for the unsettling images.
DSG's are in fact evolved sequential gearboxes, and really quite brilliant. What you're really asking is why we don't have sequential dog boxes, which would be brutal on the street. Dog boxes have straight cut gears that whine terribly and slam into gear like a kick in the nuts.
Engineering, lots of it.
WTF does this have to do with politics?
Why eat one hot dog, when you can eat five? Why wear one shirt, when you can wear five? Why have one wife, when you can have five? Why have piss in only one urinal, when you can piss in five? Why ask one question, when you can ask five? More is clearly always better. Next question.
I mentioned this once before, but I let myself get outbid on a 246GT at auction for $42k. I think I stopped at $40k. Instead, I bought a 1990 Lotus Esprit SE for $36k, This was in ~1996. I have no hope of affording one now.
I was going to reply that a good unaffordable future classic to invest in would be a Diablo 6.0, but guess what? Prices have doubled ($360k vs $180k) since the last time I looked, which was maybe 2 months ago. The classic market is insane right now.
The same thing is happening with many iconic classics right now. Two that I've been following are Countach and Detomaso Mangusta prices. Both have shot up 300-400% in the last 18 months. Cars that were possibly in reach in 2012 are completely out of reach now. Countach prices shot up almost overnight. There are some…
Interesting, because I do all those things and love BikeEXIF. I get it though. You're cooler than these guys cause you aren't trying to look cool. It's important to let other people know that they aren't authentic cool motorcyclists like you. These guys like to ride dicks, and we know fags aren't cool. Cool dudes like…
Well. I was born and lived most of my life in Dallas, moved everywhere, and now live in Seattle, but I still love Dallas and am still a Texan. Fuck you and your narrow minded non-Texan righteousness. Dallas, like Texas, has a more complex character than outsiders give credit.
The "meh" is off the charts. Plastic fantastic coupe that would have been pitifully executed and driven by 3rd place trophy second wives. Saturn: For when whatever is good enough.
This is not an official Ruf vehicle. "In cooperation with Ruf USA" = Ruf was willing to sell me some parts. This is a bunch of parts tacked on to a Beetle.
I like that the dude in the yellow shirt tries to stop the car with a swift karate kick, but somehow his super-kick did not work.
I know, it's tough when no one respects your sense of entitlement.
You do realize that the RWD record is still significantly faster than this?
