Well, the V6 is a much "better" engine...more power, more torque, huge torque plateau, more accessible power, smaller, better emissions, much better mileage...just doesn't sound as nice. Again...green agenda here.

This is a stacked segment now, with Ducati's Multistrada, this Beemer, and the Moto Guzzi Norge in the high end, the new Yamaha 3-cyclinder touring bike in the mid-level, and cheaper 1000cc "ADV bikes w/17" street tires" from Kawasaki and Suzuki. Times is good.
