The delivery of her Kanye diss was weak, at least to me. In addition, the lines “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now/ Why?/ Oh, cuz she’s dead” is way too similar to the meaning of ‘Kill Jay-Z’.

Depeche Mode did a very similar thing for their current tour. They gave you ‘boosts’ for buying a physical copy thru their website, and smaller ‘boosts’ for social media posts or getting someone to register for the wait list. I didn’t mind so much since I was going to buy the new record anyway, and I don’t live in LA…

The only Kanye reference I caught in the lyrics was the ‘I don’t like your tilted stage’, referencing Kanye’s stage for his Life of Pablo tour.

John McCain probably texted Trump before the vote:

It was high drama following it online. A journalist I follow on Twitter tweeted 15 minutes before the vote that Sen. McCain was gonna vote ‘no’. The AZ Governor didn’t support this either.

My hope is that Senator McCain votes ‘no’ because it would be his ultimate ‘fuck you’ to Trump.

He lost his re-election bid last year by 11 points. He’s still on trial, but his lawyers are trying to get the case thrown out. Who knows how long his trial will go on.
