Just checking to see if someone reference Cam, and was not disappointed.... Bravo good sir.

I don’t know and I hope I never know what it’s like to have a weapon pointed at me, but if it did happen, that would completely mess me up mentally. I’d probably need counseling.

I’ve just started listening to Bomani Jones’ radio show on ESPN...It is very entertaining...he knows his stuff, and presents his points in a logical way. His perspective is so refreshing.... I’m glad he’s got a national voice.

I was at that LA show this year. They’ll never come to where I live, but I was able to make the trip. They didn’t play the dubnobasswithmyheadman record in full, but it was still spectacular seeing them at the Hollywood Bowl. Fingers crossed, they should be touring next year. The band is announcing something on

Nice!!! Speaking of Underworld, in case you hadn’t heard, they just released a remastered boxset of their 1996 album ‘Second Toughest in the Infants’. There’s a 4 disc version that has the b-sides, remixes, live tracks and demoes from that album. www.underworldlive.com

I was watching this not to long ago... the song playing during that scene is ‘Dark and Long (Dark Train)‘ by Underworld (one of my favorite bands). I never realized that the wallpaper in the bedroom is train wallpaper. I was too freaked out by the crawling baby while nodding along to the song.

Fun Fact number 1.... Being a kid of the 80s, my musical taste was mainly shaped by my mom: U2, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, and Prince

I, as a mid-30s male, completely relate to you. The local radio stations aren’t that helpful, even the one that does play new indie-type music. I think my tastes are really varied, but I have no idea how I found the newer / recent bands that I’m really into like Chvrches, The War on Drugs, Run the Jewels, Dawes.

Bruce Springsteen to Ms. Ahmed... ‘Here, take my’ Boss’ title.... It’s yours. ‘

I bet she enjoyed Drew Stanton’s or Carson Palmer’s celebratory moves after the Cardinals’ Sunday night win. Those were more her shade of good wholesome fun.

Sade = the greatest

I think the University of Phoenix Stadium has finally covered their concrete ring. I don’t sit close enough to know what it’s covered with, but it looks like rubber. I remember seeing a few players slip similar to Reggie Bush, but somehow didn’t get severely hurt.

It’s very cool to see Geddy Lee from Rush behind home plate (2nd row next to the guy in the pink shirt) react just like all the other Blue Jay fans there when Tulowitzki and Donaldson hit the homeruns.

I so wanted Joey Bats to go all Rasheed Wallace running the bases yelling ‘BALL DON’T LIE’.

Now playing

1992 NLCS Game 7 - Pirates vs Braves - The whole 9th inning was a gut punch, but then slow as hell Sid Bream beats Barry Bonds’ throw. It still makes me upset.

We should have known this would be a problem when Bud Norris insisted his team be called the Saint James Fathers.

Pink Floyd ‘The Division Bell’ 1994 was the first concert I went to.

He’s wearing his lucky Mormon undergarments.

Thanks, it’s from a Letterman top 10 if I remember correctly. The topic was referencing where terrorists might register for wedding gifts.
