@The Seaward (nee Tocchets Bookie): That's a good point, but everybody does that. The Dodgers started doing it towards the end of August, and the Rockies beat them 7 times during this run. The Dbacks didn't owe anyone to play their own regulars that day. Plus if the Padres would have one more against the Brewers…

Both AL teams are immensely more disciplined at the plate than Philly or Arizona have shown. I think this would be the big advantage.
