@fulanita: Normally, I'm all about pointing out the double standard, but if the sorority signed the contract for the event space, they're responsible for the damage done by their guests, male or female.

I'd bump the dude in the top photo. After I taught him to read.

@marilynmonrobot: Since it was the sorority that rented the space, it's their problem, not the male guests'. The person (or organization) that signs a contract to rent out event space is responsible for any damage done by the guests.

I confess, I think Nigel looks pretty adorable there.

"If you look at the emerging markets in the fashion industry, it's China, Brazil, India. If we keep sending all white models down the runway, that isn't going to speak to the consumers in those markets."

@PilgrimSoul: You're totally going to land us in the trunk of a car in the Meadowlands.

Wow, I'm just double-posting all over the place...

Uh...Luke Song?

Since when are driving/typing/home ec and reading/going to college/leadership mutually exclusive?

@NefariousNewt: I feel bad for Courtney—she's suffered a lot. But some of her suffering is the result of choices she made, whereas Frances is just unlucky enough to have been born into that family.

@NefariousNewt: Also, she has serious substance abuse/mental health problems, and has lost custody of her daughter because of them.

Yeah, I'm sure she made a HUGE statement and protected children everywhere, since those are the only copies of the Gossip Girls books in existence, and readers couldn't possibly have found them anywhere else in the universe.

@vamvaki_poulaki: In sundress season, I sometimes put a little liquid concealer on my upper arms just to cover the redness. The bumpiness is less obvious if everything is skin-toned.

@paperispatient: Yeah, that's another typical place for it to show up! Try some of the lactic/salicylic creams and see if that helps.

I have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and I HATE it. It's worst in the winter, when the air is dry.
