I had the same thought about The Parent Trap movies the other day!

When I firt heard that they were together I thought it was tabloid BS, but they seem genuinely in love with one another and so incredibly happy. I wish them all the best.

Ahh yes, you are right about the sister!

Plus, it wasn’t written with a gender in mind tonsing either part. When it was first sung a woman does indeed tell a man that she has to go, but then the rolls are switched and a man tells a woman HE has to go, but she physically blocks him from leaving and then pins him down on the couch. 

In the movie it was first preformed in its actually song twice (back to back) in its entirety. The first time the woman is pretending she wants to leave the man’s house. The second time, that woman’s (female) roommate (she doesn’t live with her parents; so her father isn’t actually pacing the floor waiting up for her)…

And I’m sure they sold the rights to the photos for millions; which they donated to charity.

Several years ago, her first day of work at a new high school, my wife, who was in her mid 20’s but looked younger, was stopped and yelled at by security for entering the building too early.

I’m so glad they gave him the time for this.
