No no no! I meant to say that Battle Royale is much bloodier. In The Hunger Games, most of the hardcore violence happens out of the scene. Also, unlike Battle Royale, the main kids picked are not all psychopaths or kids with big back stories. They are just random kids. Also, none of the awful sex stuff.

I am totally with you. Pushing Daisies and Firefly were my favorite shows! I now just assume that if I like a show it will be off the air soon.

I totally agree! I get that people wanted her to be darker, but I think she looks amazing and will totally do justice to the character.

I finally read Battle Royale because I kept hearing about Hunger Games ripping it off. Besides the obvious similar plot, it is completely different. Good, much bloodier and more disturbing, but good.

The court has a lot of discretion in setting spousal support in CA. From my perspective the court abused that discretion terribly. One of the many considerations that must be taken into account is a history of domestic violence. If this is not a clear cut showing of DV, I don't know what is.

I've run in a few 5ks and I am doing my first 10k in a few weeks. I am slow, and honestly, pretty tired from all the running I have been doing.
