Well, thanks for the reply, and I'll amend my statement to say that SB provides a similar type of horizontal listing of windows & tabs. But for my money, SB's interface is the selling point here. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but as a stickler for intuitive UI, it's just a bit too cluttered/confusing for me.

Photos courtesy Potatocam™. But seriously, gotta love Ikea Hackers.

For anyone that commonly encounters crashes due to their tab-aholism™, I think Session Buddy is a better option, as it provides this same type of tree view, but also saves your tab/window sessions automagically, ensuring that you don't end up losing your stuff in the event of a crash. (Also helpful for not having to

+1 for actual reading/comprehension.

VOTE: BEST A/V RECEIVER: Denon AVR-1713. Airplay (key point of Denon's airplay implementation: the ability to play it to the second zone – very few receivers allow digital sources like this in Zone 2/B), internet radio (including Pandora and Sirius), Audyssey (w/room calibration), web interface, iPhone/android apps.

I've been thinking for a while about developing a crowd-sourced troll-blocking browser extension... I'd be interested to hear weather people would find it useful. Instead of just blocking comments on one site, or blocking comments altogether, it would block comments that are marked by other users of the extension as

Ditto on the skeuomorphic stuff. Hearing that some designers want the industry to move away from it is quite disheartening.

Agreed. Totally not cool headline choice, giz.

Seems this doesn't exist on their site. Am I missing something?

Awesome article, man. I've had my eye on the green performer from C&B for a couple of years almost (the wife loves the color which is what made her willing to own one), and I plan on buying one as soon as I have the extra cash or the space, whichever comes first. I'm bookmarking this as a great way to bring that green

Couldn't agree more, on all counts. Cool project, but I expected to see like two small lights in the corner of a desk, not a massive array like this. Guess I'll have to make my own...

Re: skeumorphism. You're totally missing the point.

Thanks! I live in Florida on the east coast, but pretty far inland. I'll have to keep an eye out for rust, but with care it shouldn't be an issue.

Probably better for the Jalopnik crowd, but I'm starting to look at classic cars this weekend to find what will become my daily driver for work. My commute is only 2 miles, ~10 minutes on small roads. My lease is up in May and I'm getting tired of throwing money at VW finance with no ownership. I'd love a new car, but

Grooveshark has more features than any of it's competitors. Pandora-style radio (without having to create a station), "Favorites", much better playlist management, ability to add your own songs (admittedly this was risky and most people avoided it), and one of the best mobile apps (unfortunately only on jailbroken

It's too bad. Their watches are still just as great as ever, and I really hoped this reissue would be a similar story. Oh well, maybe they'll realize the mistake and change producers, but I doubt it.
