Atmospheric just means above ground and there have been hundreds of test that happened at near ground level, so where was the nuclear winter? I know this work was started by Carl Sagan and many other brilliant people but it seems like we are ignoring some existing data points.

What I don’t get about this is there have been 520 atmospheric nuclear test to date, where is the nuclear winter? Do they all have to go off on the same day.

It’s strange, growing up (watching the English dubs) I never considered her ethnicity. Didn’t really think of her as white or Japanese. But leaving her ethnicity ambiguous almost makes the main theme, what makes identity and ones self/consciousnesses unique, even better.
