If the story didn’t center on a white man’s fee-fees, Scorsese would never make it. Doubt he ever would have heard about it in the first place. It just not his thing. And I’m fine with him staying in his lane. Turns out this time it helps shine a light on a part of American heritage that nearly got completely buried.

“Didn’t read. Everyone offended. Talking hurt feelings. Me cry.”

Or, maybe, people can discuss a movie critically and it can still be a good movie? And it’s good that the filmmakers tried to appease multiple relevant groups, who can and should express their complex feelings on the subject?

It seems like the production team working closely with the Osage was very appreciated, though. Of course the Osage would have complicated feelings, it’s a movie about an extensive scheme to murder Osage rights-holders for their money and property.

A person who shares a cultural background with the culture a story is about might have a better grasp on it. Shocking insight, I know.

I completely agree with Christopher Cote’s statement. I am a white woman who saw an advanced screening last night and came out of the film feeling like it had completely missed the mark by not taking the opportunity to center around Molly’s and her family’s experience — especially considering the transcendent level of

While some fans are trouncing MJ’s vehicular oopsie as developer Insomniac Games “not [understanding] the assignment”

I swear I saw a GIF of a Sailor Moon character botching the slide.

My mother used to work the night shift in the Spinal Ward of a hospital, where parapalegic and quadrapalegic patients were cared for. Every morning she would talk about how most of the patients were there because of motorcycle accidents.

Starfield doesn’t have challenge - just inconvenience.

Did you also download the mod that makes junk items unlootable? There’s a lot of reasons I’ve grown from a fan to a little bit of a hater over time, but the biggest is the way they handle junk and looting and encumbrance. It’s designed to pray upon the same mental illness triggers associated with hoarding. I find

Kotick’s pretty old and is valued north of 600 million. I’d put money on “actually retires but spends his money negatively impacting american politics until his far too late death.

Yes, and then you can watch your companion of choice go on a murderous rampage. Andreja said something about a planet full of life being a blessing when we landed, but I didn't think it was because she was gonna kill all my farm animals.
