For me the biggest miss in the ST is Finn. There was so much potential to mine there. But nope! Skywalkers and Palpatines!

People don’t seem to believe this, but 1) is all the OT fans really wanted in the first place.

Pay off the previous series, tell a different story.

This is a bad idea. You may not like these movies, and I’m not crazy about them, but there are people who enjoy them, and for a lot of the younger viewers they were their introduction to Star Wars. If Lucasfilm did a Legends-style retcon you’d only piss off those fans and create more schisms where none needed to exist.

Color in film is something I’m personally very passionate about. I would’ve noticed immediately if this series had a lack of genuine color to it …and this show is something I’ve been really on top of with how the original is my favorite anime of all time.

Few points:

The absence of The Thing from this list disappoints. It’s a good list, but that 1982 film is one of The Greats and should default on any list o' horror (unless it’s just not available on streaming, in which case I apologise)

Eh, I am 34, and my partner is 52. His eldest daughter has already made us both grandparents twice over.

It’s fine? Jessica and Leto are played by appropriately aged actors and it’s very normal to cast a person in their 20s to play a teen. I don’t understand why this is even an article, are you guys running out of things to talk about?
