It looks gorgeous and I like the cast and director, but I still don’t really see a reason to...care? Not a knock at Kirby, but these trailers don’t really tell me why I should root for or be attached to these guys. Deviants feel generic too.

None of these trailers have hit a tone that feels right to me, and in particular I am SO EFFING TIRED of the trope of ending a purportedly epic trailer with a joke that’s supposed to be funny but just comes off as awkward. It’s like the editorial version of a Wilhelm scream.

Starting to look a bit too much like DC movies. Hopefully the actual movie doesn’t suck like DC movies.

From the fact that he risked the mission to recover Harley to him fighting back against destroying the hard drive, it was clear he was becoming a liability to Waller’s objectives. I don’t think the first movie did do that really, they actually put a lot of effort into making sure they were referring to the *next* Superman.

That being said, I’d kill to see Bizzaro Superman played by Bautista in a The Suicide Squad 2.

It is kind of that Superman is untrustworthy, as he’s susceptible to things like mind control and red kryptonite.

Honestly, they could’ve just left out Bloodsport’s father/daughter storyline and I would’ve been fine with it.
