Photoshop of the Day.

Are you still rocking the e engine? I've heard that due to their lower revving nature, they kind of... don't ever die. Or need maintenance (not really, any way.)

I kind of like to hear that elected official "One heartbeat away from the presidency" had a normal (normalish, anyway) job at some point.

interesting that this car is 1 point fewer than a non-V ATS...

damn, I thought I might have a chance to jump on this one.

I'd say this as well.

Is it just me, or does the Fiat 500 seem like a terrible platform to release an electric car from?

Agreed- I once met an SCCA (detroit section) guy that used a silverado 1500 (i believe) to teach his son how to race (on a tight cone track). The reason? the big, heavy truck is RWD, but has very exaggerated handling responses- I think he was spot on (and really quick in that truck- you should have heard those tires

I think part of the answer is to buy something that is a great car-guy car.

I think the scientific term for this is, awesome.

that's a bouncy dood.

wait, what?

Actually, I think it was a 128i with a stick. I'm still a little green at all of this, but my god. BMW makes a car that can shift. And with that smooth, NA straight-six- oh man.

I'd be interested to see where a plain-jane GTi compares here. In some ways, it seems like many of the weaknesses are either GTi- borne, or could be bettered, like the all wheel drive.

I'd bet it was one of those things where during testing, an M boss said "it doesn't sound motorsporty. All I hear is turbo. fix it."

uh, no.

and all that for subpar economy (with the CVT, as getting a manual one was called "laughable" at a dealership)

don't forget what they did to the capri:

thirded. While it's stablemate the caliber was also disappointing, at least it wasn't quite as ugly.

I see what you did there.
