I found it odd that the unarmed people hung around the barn watching the carnage - you'd think Lori at least would get Carl out of there. just in case. Sophia was the least surprising development ever. I wanted her to stagger toward her mother, the way Morgan's wife kept returning to her home in the pilot.

You nailed it. I liked the LOST characters from the pilot on. They had charisma, there was real tension between them and the dialogue worked. TWD is just flat. The only actors who bring it on this show are Darryl and Glenn (also Morgan from the pilot.)

I so thought this was about Margaret or Kate at first.

I hope so, because it gave me a jolt.

I need Cas back. The show feels incomplete without him.

Not my favorite episode, but still decent. I found the "just tell them to go away" advice from Tate interesting - obviously not all of the ghosts go away easily, but some do. At least Violet definitely understands the supernatural underpinnings of the house and Vivien is starting to. Speaking of which, did Vivien hear

Yeah, the personality difference between old and young Moira is jarring. She's so jaded and deadpan as a young woman and so earnest and sensitive as an older woman.

Christmas present to myself: the new Manara volumes coming out from Dark Horse.

How much of this season did Darabont oversee before his departure? I need to blame the lagging pace and boring writing on something. I had my complaints with Season 1, but at least it moved along when Darabton was in charge.

The pacing is terrible and I'm wondering how much it has to do with the changes in staff.

That would make a great t shirt.

What a sad life. Solitude, starvation, then death.

No... if you do the house tour at youregoingtodieinthere.com, they go through different murders and suicides in various decades. There's a double BDSM murder in the 80's. At the time I thought these would eventually be in the show (I'm thinking they won't trot out ALL the ghosts in the first season, right?) but now

Which two? As far as I remember, they only know one invader was found cut in half. (Ben's patient.) and the other two, who were killed by the ghosts, are officially missing. Unless I missed a part where their bodies were found.

Who here did the online house tour? I was thinking the murders and suicides in the tour would be in the show at some point but the BDSM murder was in the 80's and it looks like Constance lived there from at least 1983 into the 90's. I guess it could have been in 80-82 but it's more likely that the tour deaths were for

You hit on my fear with this show - that when we get to the genesis/roots, the explanation will be weak and silly. I'm enjoying the vagueness but I don't see how they'll pull off a good source story that's satisfying.

I also questioned why Vivien was taking pregnancy advice from a woman whose "womb was cursed." And why Vivien and Ben barely reacted to the news that Hayden had escaped. That's now yet another person on the loose who's broken in and tried to kill them, in addition to the home invasion people - they don't know they're

I have a theory that the house manifests your fantasies - be they positive or negative. So Ben gets a hot, sexy maid hitting on him and his pregnant girlfriend disposed of, Vivien gets knocked up and a hot security guard to flirt with, and Ben's patient's worst fears and phobias come true. And possibly Tate's

Just for the sake of clarification, your position is that fathers can force the mothers to carry the pregnancy to term and give birth?
