Agreed. Being memorable and eye-arresting is often part of what we consider beautiful. These faces always look bland and forgettable.

I thought it would be the opposite - that none of the kids pay attention to your birthday because they're too excited over their own candy and costume. That's great that you enjoyed it.

Yep. She is one of my all-time favorite Hollywood stars, and not because of how she died. She really had something rare.

That scene was horrible. I couldn't stop cringing.

When I worked as a lifeguard, I was told drowning is sheer agony and that a drowner's panic puts anyone saving their life at risk. Luckily I never found out first hand.

Are you claustrophobic? Don't ever watch The Vanishing. (Dutch verson.) It'll haunt you for years.

Me too.

Urine Gone is the best product I've found. It saved my laptop case after my angry cat whizzed all over it.

dammit, I was hoping the GOT comeback was Jason Momoa in some form.

Exactly.

I could barely bring myself to pay attention. Especially once the little blonde moppet showed up, because I knew then that the show was using kids again to warm the audience's heart instead of engaging our minds with good storytelling.

I vote for this.

The horde scene was good (would have been more potent if I hadn't seen it ten times in ads already) but the protracted search let the air out of the episode's tires. Why have a 90 minute episode when so much of it is traipsing around the woods?

People have made that point before, that God isn't portrayed positively, but I disagree. Supernatural has played it safe by eliminating Mary and Jesus and keeping God as a remote question mark - which is how he already is to his followers, who understand bad things happen in life and prayers go unanswered but that

Once again I was dissatisfied with Supernatural's depiction of a non-Christian god. I didn't like the episode with Ganesh and Kali, and last night's Osiris came across the same way: not as gods, with all the heft and grandeur of deities worshiped for thousands of years (and currently, in Kali and Ganesh's case), but

I'm thinking they'll put the house on the market and not have any buyers for a few months. That could be long enough to wrap up the season, especially since I believe the plan is for a different family to live in the house next season. (assuming the show isn't cancelled.)

Whoa, even the hooker was a ghost??

I could list 27 complaints about this show, yet I find myself thinking about it and talking about it with my friends. Which isn't something I've done in a while.

I just rewatched Season 1, and was able to appreciate it more this time around because my comic book expectations had already been smashed. I like the looks of Maggie; she and Glenn were a favorite part of the comic for me, because god knows you have to have some levity. But overall, I'm looking forward to the prison

Yeah, he has a great energy that livens up the show. I can't believe the actor is 42 - he really makes Daryl seem so much younger.
