Even if she gets into the right shape, she doesn't have the right energy. Maybe she's a good enough actress to surprise me, but she's had this soft, wispy way to her in everything I've seen. I know WW needs a certain vigor or dominance or her fights aren't believable.

I know. I will be so pissed if decades pass and I'm on my deathbed when they announce that jet packs and woolly mammoth parks are now available. I want them now!

Ed Wood is one of my favorite all-time movies, and it gave me hope for years that Burton was going to deliver another gem I could love. It hasn't happened yet.

He is a work of art.

Ugh, that sucks. Sandman of all things.

In a generally clunky season, it's been the way they've ended storylines that seem the clumsiest. From the ghost mother to Claudine dying to last night's Marnie resolution, it always seems either too drawn-out or pointless and illogical. I also don't get the storylines that went nowhere - Hotshot, Mab and the faeries,

I'm curious if YA books are purchased more by kids or by their parents. (Or by adults who read YA fiction.) does anyone know? I understand the sales arguments people are making, but it's my experience that most straight adults have no idea how many gay, bi and trans kids are out these days, and how status quo that is

I went through this, though not with YA. My agent didn't have a problem with it, but several publishers/sales editors said "lesbians only read mysteries" and suggested lit lesbian novels were destined for small presses. But that was a while ago.

I was going to pass on this. Definitely giving it a shot now.

I have an embarrassing addiction to Celebrity Ghost Stories. It's so ingenious - I know it's just people with a motive to be on the show (publicity/revive a dying career) and the acting skill to somewhat pull it off, yet every now and then one of the stories really gets to me.

This episode felt anti-climactic. We knew Marcus and Marnie were going to die, so there was no surprise there, and there wasn't much momentum or tension. Just a lot of people standing around vexed and plotting.

I used to love UA, but I feel it's going downhill. They need fresh writers.

No. It's almost always depressing when a movie comes out about a long-dead television show. I prefer to remember the way things were.

I'm curious how women would have tested. I used to always be attracted to men with my coloring and women who were the exact opposite. Now I'm all over the map, but most of my close women friends have very specific types that never waver.

This is my dream museum. I wish it still existed, although I do question what constitutes "natural causes."

Assuming Marnie dies, and possibly Marcus, I'm curious who else is dispensible. I don't think they should kill Tara - let her go back to her girlfriend and be a background character. I can't imagine the main four vamps dying but maybe Nan Flanagan? Maybe Hoyt joins the anti-vampire cause and dies? He's a bit

I really don't want Debbie to die. She has way too much entertainment potential.

It's hard to separate what's good from what's iconic. Twilight Zone, Twin Peaks and X Files, for instance, pack such a strong nostalgic punch for me. So does the theme from Are You Afraid of the Dark?, although that's not sci fi.

The scene with Debbie and Marcus was the only part that held my attention. Those two are electric. I don't exactly understand how we began this season with tweaker werecats and ended up with stoner werewolves, but I could watch an entire show of Debbie Pelt.

I always thought I wanted a stay at home partner. Then I had one and the resulting financial dependency added a whole new layer of guilt when I ended the relationship. It would still be ideal if I had kids, but otherwise, no.
