"Sascrotch."

But where does the pine weasel live on this map?

Violence isn't always on an equal playing field for readers though; I'm not afraid of plunging to my death off a cliff or being beheaded, but gang rape or sexual violence is an actual possibility/experience for many people and therefore it cuts closer to home for some readers. Such as the way I can watch war movies

Ditto. There's just no comparison in my opinion.

I had the same feeling. After a while, it became a world too bleak for me to want to read about anymore. I remember one gang-rape described of a girl on a table while her father was forced to serve her rapists dinner and realized I didn't care if he finished the series or not.

I think her actual full name is Jacoba. I call her Cobie Smolders in any case.

Even though I wasn't reading comic books yet in 1988, this makes me nostalgic.

The sleepy one at the end just about killed me. What a little face.

I like the way you think.

If there's one storyline I can't stand - in any movie/show - it's vampire politics. Just once I would like to see vampires who aren't intensely hierarchical and controlling, and obsessed with who belongs to who. So I'm starting to groan as soon as I see Bishop on the screen.

I would watch In The Dark if instead of featuring ghost-hunters, it featured the self-identified vampire community. There's no better comedy than people who take their psychics attack and fake names VERY seriously.

I think semi-old age is a great time for volunteer work. I don't think it's a great time for staying in your earlier career, because I've worked with many people who wouldn't retire but clearly needed to - they had memory and cognitive problems, couldn't adjust to technology and had outdated gender and social ideas

Maybe Terra Nova can have an episode where they discover another portal that takes them to Minorca. But without hopping and long ears, these bunnies are kind of dull, aren't they? I thought I was looking at a capybara.

Really, really hoping this doesn't suck. It's sad how much I've been anticipating it.

I haven't been thrilled with either Locke and Key, or Horns or Heart-Shaped Box the way other people have - they're solid but not remarkable. But his book of short stories, 20th Century Ghosts? That was riveting and imaginative and completely laudable in every way. I hope he does another collection.

Does anyone know if the last Suicide Forest (IDW) comes out this week? I know it comes out in March but can't find a date.

Hasn't this already been delayed a few times? I feel like I've been hearing about this show forever. That said, I didn't really want to wait four months to see the show if I liked the pilot, so this works for me.

He reminds me of a young Chris Noth here. I've always liked him.

I don't know about facial attractiveness, but I will take a clean, good-smelling average-looking man over a gorgeous but unclean man any day. Nothing turns me off more than my hipster friends who refuse to wash their hair or shower. I find them disgusting even when they're technically cute. But some girls either

The monkey ghost looks more like Sasquatch mated with Moth Man. Which, if the offspring could fly, would be badass.
